It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our sweet, resilient, and deeply loved Evie. To know Evie was to know unconditional love in its purest, most perfect form. She was more than just a cat; she was the quiet, constant heartbeat of a home and the greatest comfort to Sophia.

Evie was a beacon of light who brightened every single day. She had an unparalleled talent for making an apartment feel like the warmest, safest haven on earth, always there when you walked in the door to greet you. Her purrs were a soothing symphony, her licks a gentle blessing, and her snuggles the most precious comfort. Evie was always present, always loving, always ready to make everyone smile – even if she did leave litter everywhere.

For our daughter, Evie was a special kind of miracle. Her presence was everything: that warm, furry welcome that instantly turned the apartment into “home.”

We want to give a special thank you to Evie for being the loyal, loving companion she was every single day, especially for being there to love our daughter when we could not be. She was the best kind of constant presence, offering her soft fur and gentle spirit during lonely moments.

Evie taught the most essential lessons—about resilience and strength—choosing to put love out into the world even when she hadn’t been shown it in so long. Evie came into her life and, through her quiet, loving presence, made it infinitely brighter.

Though she is gone, there is true comfort in knowing that Evie spent her final years in the retirement home she absolutely deserved, surrounded by all the love she had to give and all the love she earned back tenfold.

We hold onto the hope that, as she crosses that rainbow bridge, she is now curled up in her favorite blanket, bathed in warmth, and endlessly enjoying all the Greenies she can imagine.

Goodbye Evie, thank you for every purr, every lick, and every moment of radiant love. You will be missed more than we’ll ever know, and you will never be forgotten.
